Thomas Aquinas was reportedly a strong supporter of the feast of Corpus Christi before it became a widespread feast in the Church and wrote a beautiful liturgy to celebrate it.

In his Apostolic Exhortation Sacramentum Caritatis (2007), Benedict XVI spoke of the centrality of the Eucharistic sacrifice as a mystery to be believed, to be celebrated, and to be lived.

The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament draws us into the life of Jesus, enabling us to know God’s will for us.
