Bequests
You can choose to help the important work of the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney by making a bequest. A bequest is a gift of part of your estate made in your Will. Your estate is the total of all your assets and possessions when you pass away. By making a bequest, you will provide support for many ministries provided by the Church.

Cardinal Gilroy Society
The Cardinal Gilroy Society has been established to honour the generosity of those individuals who have pledged a bequest to any of the good works of the Sydney Archdiocese. The Society is a way that we can thank you now for your foresight and very special contribution.

Sydney French Roman Catholic Charities
Our charitable association began 1998, when His Grace Maurice PIAT, bishop of Mauritius while in Sydney asked our French speaking community, especially the Mauritians, for help to support the educational program in Mauritius.

St Mary’s Cathedral
St Mary's Cathedral is our Cathedral - the spiritual home of Sydney's Catholic community. Our constant care is to preserve this heritage. Conservation work began in 1995 and this huge task of conserving St Mary's will continue well into the future.

Priest’s Retirement Foundation
Cardinal Pell established in 2007 the Priest's Retirement Foundation of the Archdiocese of Sydney to ensure all priests can receive the accommodation, health care and support they need in their retirement. There are now over 60 retired priests in Sydney.

The Charitable Works Fund (CWF) is a centralised fund that supports the charitable and pastoral activities of the Archdiocese of Sydney. It is your charity, the charity of the Sydney Catholic community and your local parish.
