Why is sin bad?

Without getting too much into, “what is sin?” and “what are sins?” – maybe the first question should be, “WHY is sin bad, and why should I care?”

1. Why should I care about sin?
2. Do I trust that God only wants good for His children? For me, His child?
PRAY
Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartfully sorry for having offended You, and I detest all my sins because of Your just punishment, but most of all because I have offended You my God, Who is all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace, to sin no more, and to avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen.

Resolve to go to the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) at least once during Lent / before Easter
