St Mary’s Cathedral is a beacon of hope, a spiritual home, and a source of life and inspiration for Catholics in Australia.

This organisation is a service of the Archdiocese of Sydney.

The role of the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney Archive Office (Sydney Archdiocesan Archives) is consistent with the provisions of the Code of Canon Law canons 486-491 relating to the keeping and use of Diocesan Archives.

An initiative of the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney, this venture was launched in November 2011 by His Eminence, Cardinal George Pell, former Archbishop of Sydney, with around 100 business, community and Catholic leaders in attendance. This was a significant milestone for several important reasons: It was the fulfilment of the Sydney Archdiocese’s long-held aim to open up new avenues for nurturing relationships with the greater business community; a further opportunity to contribute to the public debate; providing an opportunity for more dialogue with Government; a way of deepening existing ties with similar minded community organisations and showcasing the significant works of the Church focused on social inclusion and charitable works. The Business Network has matured into a significant annual program of events. Membership includes four business luncheons throughout the year and is open to like minded Christians and those supportive of our works who would like to share ideas and possibly collaborate on future special projects.
