What is the age range for WYD?
WYD is for those aged 16-35. If you are between the ages of 16-18, you must have a parent/guardian with you at all times if you wish to attend.
What if my family want to attend?
The Sydney Archdiocese is not allowing families to attend with them during WYD; however Harvest WYD Tours have developed specific family packages which will make it easier to travel together. For more information on these, please visit www.wydtours.com
I'm not part of Sydney - can I still attend with the Archdiocese?
The Archdiocese will not accept people outside of the Archdiocese to attend WYD unless they are somehow affiliated with a parish or group. Please ring the Sydney WYD Office if you need assistance in this matter.
What does it mean to travel with the Sydney Archdiocese to WYD 2011? Can't I just go on my own?
The Sydney Archdiocese in collaboration with Harvest WYD Tours have designed seven pilgrimage options which include Harvest WYD Tours are a certified travel agent and will act on your behalf to any requests you have. These pilgrimages are designed to meet both the travel and pastoral aspects of the pilgrimage.
