About WYD 2011

The 26th World Youth Day will take place in Madrid, Spain from the 16-21 August, 2011.

World Youth Day is the largest gathering of young people in the world. It brings together youth from all corners of the world to come together and celebrate the richness and diversity of the Catholic faith. Together with His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, pilgrims travel to be renewed and strengthened in their faith, along with being a witness to a faith that is forever young in the Spirit.
