First Avatar, now 'The Book of Eli'. The Vatican is sounding off on the film, but this time it's giving the blockbuster a less negative review.
The Vatican says the film is religiously accurate, and the cinematography isn't useless like other similar films.
'The Book of Eli' is an action packed film about a man on a mission living in a post-apocalyptic world.
Eli, played by Denzel Washington survives "the war" and spends 3 decades travelling through what's left of the western United States, carrying the last copy of King James Bible. Eli believes the sacred book holds knowledge that could be the key to save humanity and will to anything to protect it.
Reportedly the film has grossed more than 110 million dollars world wide.
