Welcome to the Sydney Catholic Business Network!
“At a time when the ethical behaviour of all sectors of society is under scrutiny, the Sydney Archdiocese is pleased to provide this opportunity for members of the business and government community to dialogue together within a Christian ethical framework."
His Eminence, Cardinal George Pell AC, Archbishop of Sydney.
"The Business Network is another way in which we can build on the social capital of our society through the interaction among a diverse range of people, Catholic and non-Catholic alike, good people with Christian values who are supportive of our work and interested in a dialogue."
Danny Casey, Business Manager, Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney
An initiative of the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney, this venture was launched in November 2011 by Cardinal Pell with around 100 business, community and Catholic leaders in attendance.
Membership includes four business luncheons throughout the year and is open to Catholics and everyone who would like to share ideas and possibly collaborate on future special projects.

26 March 2012 Luncheon
The Sydney Catholic Business Network held its first luncheon on 26 March 2012 at the Sheraton on the Park.
Guest speaker, Mr Nicholas Moore, CEO of Macquarie Group, provided those gathered with a highly topical presentation on the Australian and global economies and what binds us together as a society. This was followed by a lively Q&A session where guests were given the opportunity to ask questions of Mr Moore. Veda’s CEO and Sydney Catholic Business Network Chair, Nerida Caesar, hosted the occasion.
The overwhelming response towards this first luncheon has been positive, and the Sydney Archdiocese would like to thank everyone involved in making this event a great success. We look forward to welcoming friends and guests to the next luncheon event to be held on Tuesday, 14 August. More details to be provided at a later date.
